This reminds me a little of Uma’s “Mockingbird.” I can’t say why, exactly, but both are so lovely that it’s just an honor to write about such beautiful music.
Modern Diet’s “Tabletops,” has that modern appeal to it and yet, has managed to achieve this with a really classic guitar sound. The vocals are fresh but without being too youthful.
