The art of the cover is quite subtle – it’s about finding the balance between respecting the original and also giving it an injection of new life. SOFI TUKKER has given “Chasing Cars” a burst of the 2020s – soft electro chimes, a vocal wispiness that flutters around your heart, as well as a booming and yet hidden beat that makes you move but doesn’t kick you in the gut.
“Chasing Cars” has always been a classic and now it just stands to say that it’s timeless.
