East Lansing Art Festival 2024

Artists nationwide are invited to apply for the East Lansing Art Festival, held May 18 and 19, 2024 in the City of East Lansing, MI. ~$6000 in awards available. The ELAF maintains high standards of quality in fine art/fine crafts. All work must be the creation of the exhibiting artist: the original concept, design, style and execution must be attributable solely to the displaying artist(s). The North Shore Art League is excited for our 11th annual juried fine art & fine craft fair on June 22 & 23, 2024. Up to $3,000 of award money. It will take place in Hubbard Woods Park, Winnetka. The Hamilton County Artists Association and Noblesville Creates announce a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, March 1-30, 2024 at the HCAA Gallery in Noblesville, IN. $3000 worth of awards. Juror: Brad Davis. Accepted mediums include oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, charcoal, pencil, ink, mixed media. Art in Wilder Park 2024

The Elmhurst Art Museum in Elmhurst, IL seeks artists for Art in Wilder Park, May 4 & 5, 2024. Jurors: Roz Long, Marissa Amoni, and Tammy L Deck. As the first outdoor festival in the region each year, Art in Wilder Park is a highly anticipated event in Chicago’s western suburbs. Last year’s event included over 130 booths of one-of-a-kind art, food vendors, and hands-on kid’s activities and drew over 11,500 visitors. In 2023 the event was voted one of the Best in the West, featured in numerous press outlets, and attracted nearly half of its visitors from outside Elmhurst. There will also be a newly commissioned public art installation of life-sized monsters drawn by cartoonist Dave Pryor inspired by children’s drawings. $25 application fee. Sacred & Liturgical Art 2024

In cooperation with the Liturgical Arts Festival of Springfield (LAFS), the Springfield Art Association (SAA) will host a juried exhibition of liturgical and sacred art as part of the biennial, interfaith Liturgical Arts Festival: Come Creative Spirit. Total of $1500 in awards. All spiritual interpretations, approaches and media are welcome. Calling all Sculptors!

The Allied Arts Council of St Joseph, Missouri seeks outdoor sculptures for the 11th annual Sculpture Walk, held June 12, 2024 – May 12, 2025 in Downtown St. Joseph, Missouri. Artists receive a $750 honorarium per sculpture selected and compete for up to $10,000 in cash prize awards. A selection committee of art professors and arts community leaders chooses the sculptures and locations for them. Additionally, the Allied Arts Council purchases one sculpture each year and donates it to the City of St. Joseph for its public art collection. Each sculpture entered must be available to the public for purchase. The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites entries for a juried art exhibition, May 31 – June 28, 2024. Honorarium of $50 for each exhibiting artist, and Grand Jury Award of $1,000 for one jury-selected work from among the exhibits on view. Visual artists and designers may submit works of any genre, subject matter, and/or content that measures no more than 7 inches in any direction. Watercolor USA 2024 at the Springfield Art Museum

The City of Springfield/Springfield Art Museum in Springfield, MO seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, June 8 – September 1, 2024. Awards: $3,000; $2,000; $1,500; $1,000; Possible Museum Purchase Awards; and more. Juror: Carole Hennessy, President of the Watercolor USA Honor Society. Open to artists, 18 years or older, living in the U.S. or its territories. All artwork must be original, executed after January 1, 2023, and not previously shown at the Museum. Watercolor media must be on watercolor paper substrate and framed using an acrylic covering (No glass unless hand delivered). Artwork must utilize water-soluble paint as the primary medium used in a traditional watercolor-like manner. The Museum is particularly interested in artists who utilize watercolor in intriguing ways. 3-D watercolor painted paper sculpture is allowed. Prints are not allowed. $40 for up to two artworks. Eclipse themed mural in Southern Indiana

The City Council and Mayor’s office of Vincennes, Indiana are announcing a national call for artist submissions for an eclipse themed mural on the side of City Hall. Vincennes and Knox County are in the centerline of totality during the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. We will experience 4 minutes and 5 seconds of darkness and anticipate 50,000-100,000 eclipse visitors for that weekend. To commemorate this spectacular event and encourage future eclipse tourism, the City is asking for public works to be submitted. $2,500.00 commission. The mural will be printed and installed by a local printing company and will hang for approximately 1-2 year(s). All works must be original and not shown in the last two years. No application fee. The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists and designers to submit applications for the Manifest Artist Residency program (MAR) and Scholar in Residence (SIR). We are located in the vibrant neighborhoods of East Walnut Hills and Clifton near the Ohio River, Eden Park, the Cincinnati Art Museum, numerous Universities, and within three miles of downtown.
